I also want to say that I’m tired of these terms: “Axis of identity” and “intersection”.
Both these terms reify the often uncritical assumption that somehow one can split oneself into different “axes” of identity that these then “intersect” as if in some combination of venn diagrams.
It’s reductionist, counter-productive, and, if one is going to be quoting Butler or Foucault in the same train of thought, one has got it wrong.
